As the President of the Pharmacy Education Consortium of Thailand (PECT) and the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Chiang Mai University and chair of the organizing committee, it is an honor to host the “US-Thai Pharmacy Consortium Biennial Meeting” at Chiang Mai University.
The US-Thai Pharmacy Consortium aims to create a stronger understanding to ensure that pharmacy development can be successfully generated by creating a win-win scenario that allows both Thailand and US to enjoy education, research, social development and closer relations.
This year, we would like to welcome participants from ASEAN to enable us to build a new bridge of friendship and cooperation. Moreover, we are excited to have the experts who will share their experiences and knowledge in accreditation and quality assurance, guidance for implementing various strategies that offer many benefits not only to Thailand but also to ASEAN countries. The meeting also provides explicit ideas, updates on the latest developments in pharmaceutical technology such as 3D printing, big data, and shall prepare us for future opportunities.
